Refund Policy

Try the Free plan on your own site first. Here is why paid plans aren't refunded once delivered, how monthly and yearly billing work and what happens to your right to cancel.

Try it free first. Try the Free plan on your own site before you buy: the same plugin with one read-only AI connection, no card and no end date. Because the plugin and your plan are delivered at once, paid plans aren’t refundable: a month or a year you’ve paid for isn’t refunded, but you can cancel any time to stop the next payment. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Try the Free plan first

The Free plan is there so you can test the connection and the tools on your own site before you pay. Install the plugin, connect your AI app and ask it for an overview of your site. Your AI app can read but not change anything, and the plan has no end date. When you’re ready, upgrade it in My account › Licenses: the key stays the same and nothing needs reinstalling.

Before you buy

PowerWP needs WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, HTTPS, and an AI app that supports remote MCP servers. Claude and ChatGPT connect by signing in, which needs a site they can reach from the internet. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and the other apps with setup steps connect with a connection key. The requirements page has the details and the tools reference lists every tool. If you’re unsure whether PowerWP fits your site, ask us before you buy.

Why paid plans aren’t refundable

A paid plan is delivered right after payment: the plugin download and the license that activates it on your site. Once delivered, it can’t be returned, so we don’t refund a purchase, a monthly or yearly payment or an upgrade. A month or a year you’ve paid for isn’t refunded, but you can cancel any time to stop the next payment.

  • A payment taken twice. If the same payment was taken twice, we pay back the extra charge.
  • Your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits the rights that consumer law gives you and that can’t be excluded.

Monthly and yearly billing, and cancelling

Paid plans are billed every month or once a year, as you chose at checkout, automatically, by card (Stripe), until you cancel. There is no contract beyond the month or year you’ve paid for. Each month or year of your plan starts as soon as it’s paid for, like a purchase, so the same rule applies. Cancel any time in My account › Subscriptions: your plan stays active until the end of the month or year you’ve paid for, and no further payment is taken.

When a paid plan ends, because you cancel or a payment fails and isn’t retried successfully, your site goes back to the Free plan. Your AI app can still read the site, but it can’t change anything until you subscribe again. The license key stays the same and nothing needs reinstalling.

Your right to cancel (UK and EU)

Consumers in the UK and the EU normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that is supplied at once, that right ends when delivery starts, if you asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right. At checkout you do both before you pay: you confirm that you want PowerWP delivered right after payment and that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel. Without that confirmation, a paid order can’t be placed. Your order e-mail confirms it. The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel.

If a payment is reversed

If a payment for a plan is refunded or reversed, the license it paid for is suspended: your AI apps can still read the site but can’t change anything, no new AI connection can be added, updates and support stop, and the download is no longer available in your account. The plugin is free software under the GPL, so a copy you already installed keeps its GPL rights, but it no longer gets updates from us.
