These terms apply when you buy or use PowerWP, the PowerWP AI plugin and the services around it (downloads, updates and support). By buying a plan or using the plugin you agree to them. If you buy for a company, you confirm that you may agree for it.
Who we are
PowerWP is made and sold by NOMESOFT LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16414145. Our registered office and address is 60 Tottenham Court Road, Suite 6047a, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2EW, United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].
What you buy
A PowerWP plan gives you, for one WordPress site and for the plan’s period:
- a license key for that site;
- the plugin download in My account;
- plugin updates;
- support by e-mail;
- the number of AI connections your plan includes (Solo 1, Team 3, Crew 10).
The Free plan costs nothing and has no end date. It gives one site one AI connection that can only read: it can’t change content, settings or anything else on your site. It includes plugin updates; support by e-mail comes with the paid plans. You can have one Free plan per account, and you can upgrade it to a paid plan at any time; its license key stays the same.
A connection is one AI app that can work on your site, either set up with its own key or signed in with your WordPress account. Only active connections count: connections you revoked or that expired don’t. The plan does not include an AI app or its subscription: you use your own, under its provider’s terms.
Your license key
Activate your key in the plugin under PowerWP AI › License. A key covers one site: one WordPress installation at one address. A staging copy at a public address counts as a site of its own. To use the key on another site, choose Deactivate on this site first; deactivating or deleting the plugin also frees the key. Sites on local development addresses (such as localhost or a .test name) need a license key too. A paid plan covers one local copy of your site without using up its site; a second local copy counts as a site. The plugin checks your license with its daily update check, so payments, upgrades, cancellations and suspensions reach your site within a day, or at once with Check now.
The software license
The PowerWP AI plugin is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). The GPL gives you its rights to the plugin’s code, whatever happens to your plan. What you pay for is the license key, the downloads, the updates and the support described here.
The PowerWP name, logo and website are ours and are not covered by the GPL. Please don’t present your own copies or services as official PowerWP products.
Your account
An account is created when you buy, or when you register in My account. Keep your details correct and your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, for the connections and keys you create in the plugin and for the AI apps you approve when they sign in to your site. If you think a key, a connection or your account has been misused, revoke the connection in PowerWP AI › Connections and tell us.
Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are per site, per month or per year, shown in US dollars on the pricing page and at checkout. Taxes are added where the law requires it and are shown before you pay. You pay by card, processed by Stripe (Apple Pay and Google Pay go through Stripe too). We don’t see or store full card numbers. Paid plans are billed every month or once a year, as you chose at checkout, automatically, with the payment method you chose there, until you cancel. We don’t charge you for anything else without you placing an order.
Monthly and yearly billing
How billing works
A paid plan is billed every month, or once a year if you chose yearly billing, automatically, by card, until you cancel. A yearly plan costs 20% less than 12 monthly payments and runs for one year at a time. There is no contract beyond the month or year you’ve paid for. Your license key and your plan’s limits stay the same from one payment to the next.
Cancelling
Cancel any time in My account › Subscriptions. Your plan stays active until the end of the month or year you’ve paid for, and no further payment is taken.
When a paid plan ends
A paid plan ends when you cancel, or when a payment fails and isn’t retried successfully. Your site then goes back to the Free plan: your AI app can still read the site, but it can’t change anything until you subscribe again. The license key stays the same and nothing needs reinstalling.
Upgrades
Upgrade from the Free plan or a smaller plan at any time in My account › Licenses. An upgrade keeps your key, nothing needs reinstalling, and the new plan starts that day with the bigger plan’s limits.
Refunds
Try the Free plan on your own site before you buy: it lets you test the connection and the tools at no cost. A paid plan is delivered right after payment: the plugin download and the license that activates it. Because of that, purchases, monthly and yearly payments and upgrades aren’t refunded once delivered: a month or a year you’ve paid for isn’t refunded, but you can cancel any time to stop the next payment. If the same payment was taken twice, we pay back the extra charge. Our refund policy has the details. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
Consumers in the UK and the EU normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. At checkout you ask us to deliver PowerWP right after payment and confirm that you then lose that 14-day right to cancel. Where the law gives you that right, it ends when delivery starts. Your order e-mail confirms this.
Using PowerWP on your site
PowerWP lets an AI app work on your website through tools, inside the permissions you choose for each connection. Please keep in mind:
- The AI app acts on your instructions. You decide what each connection may do, and you are responsible for the changes made on your site through your connections.
- PowerWP records changes so you can roll them back, but some actions can’t be undone: clearing caches, creating or restoring a backup, running abilities that other plugins provide, sending e-mails or calling outside services, some database statements, and WooCommerce batches of more than 100 items. The activity log marks them. Snapshots for rollback are kept for 30 days by default.
- Keep your own backups, start with read-only connections, and try large changes on a staging copy first.
- Only connect PowerWP to sites you own or are allowed to manage, and don’t use it to break the law or other people’s rights.
AI apps and other services
AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Gemini are made by other companies. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them. AI apps can misunderstand a request or be wrong: review what they propose before you approve changes, especially on a live store. We are not responsible for the answers or actions of an AI app, or for the availability of third-party services.
Updates and support
While a paid plan is active you get plugin updates and support by e-mail; the Free plan includes plugin updates. We aim to reply within one working day. Support covers PowerWP itself: installing it, connecting your AI app and how its tools work. It doesn’t include doing the work on your site for you.
We keep improving PowerWP, so features can change. We won’t remove a core part of what you bought during a paid period without telling you and offering a fair solution.
Warranty
We build PowerWP carefully and use it on our own stores, but no software is free of faults. To the extent the law allows, PowerWP is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, as the GPL also states. This doesn’t limit the rights that consumer law gives you and that can’t be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using PowerWP at any time. We may suspend or end a license if a payment fails or is reversed, if a purchase is refunded, or if PowerWP is used in a way that breaks these terms or the law. Where reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. While a license is suspended, AI connections can read the site but not change it, no new connection can be added, and updates and support stop.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes about them. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Before any formal step, please write to us: most problems are solved quickly that way.
Your data
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. PowerWP does not send us your site’s content, customers or orders.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for your plan, we tell you by e-mail before it applies; the version in force when you bought, or when your plan was last billed, applies to that period.
